A kicker’s season-over-season correlation is r = 0.20 — last year explains about 4% of this year (78 kicker-seasons, 2022–2025, standard scoring computed from real kicking splits). The top-5 kickers averaged 11.7 PPG against a 8.4 median, so the prize is real — but it is essentially not predictable in advance. Take one late; stream if your league allows it. We won’t rank them, because the evidence says we can’t.
